Career
My life is all about art. Find out about my career and artistic accomplishments.
I began this journey in 1973 as the hands of my Step-father who had the vision but not the use of his hands anymore, from a stroke. I became his hands and never lost the "passion" for glass. Then I spent several years working with the Poynter Brothers in their retail stained glass shop, still learning.
When I left Owensboro and came to our farm in Ohio County, a shop was built for artwork. I make all types of glasswork. In the beginning, I did only flat panels, doors, windows, suncatchers, etc. Now, I have 2 kilns and enjoy making 3-dimensional glass items. A flower that you see growing closer to you, leaves that actually curl, angel wings that flow like feathers and boat sails that look full of the wind, feed my desire to create. I am still learning, everyday.
I have done craft shows, art exhibits and art shows for years, won a few awards and honors but, as I get older, I prefer to stay in my shop and let the patrons come to me or visit local stores that carry my work.
Please visit me on this site, or call for directions and come on out.
And, as you travel, notice all the lovely Barn Quilts in our area. I not only helped create them, I also make glass quilt panels and quilt jewelry. Look around this site and see what is going on, in the country, near Rosine, Kentucky...the Birthplace of Bluegrass Music. Enjoy!

My photographs will improve, as this is my first attempt setting up a website. It gives you at least, an idea of what some of the jewelry looks like. There are lots of choices and I will add them soon.
Tell me what YOU like, or want me to make. Charms start at $15
